Responsibilities:

• Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings to produce a smooth or decorative finish
• Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
• Mix plaster ingredients in specified proportions
• Spread plaster over surfaces using trowels, brushes, or spray guns
• Create decorative textures or patterns in plaster
• Repair cracks, holes, or other damage in plaster or stucco
• Install and repair metal lath or wire mesh for plastering

Skills:

• Carpentry skills to prepare surfaces and create support structures
• Proficiency with power tools such as drills and saws for cutting and shaping materials
• Knowledge of various hand tools used in plastering, such as trowels and floats
• Ability to weld metal lath or wire mesh for reinforcement
• Familiarity with roofing techniques for working on ceilings or overhead surfaces
• Understanding of masonry principles for repairing or working with brick or stone surfaces

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22000- £25,000.00 per year
